4.0 IR in Food Systems

Exploring and deploying of new ways in assessing and building capacities and practices of beneficiaries has been accelerated in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. UNIDO has engaged in deploying new solutions to securely engage with its partners through a communication platform which can be used to conduct technical assessment and capacity building, engaging experts from all over the world. The FS 4.0 platform powered by REFLEK’T allows seamless communication between senior international experts and local experts and trainees to conduct assessments and capacity building trainings through a secure channel. The FS 4.0 communication platform can also interact with smart glasses thus allowing its users as local experts and trainees to take notes during the video call with senior experts. Other experts from the world can be also invited to take part of an assessment or training thus creating a network of global expertise for any sessions.
